Dear friends and jazz enthusiasts, I am thrilled to share with you the official dates and locations of my ITALIAN TOUR!

The tour will kick off in Cesena on July 18th at Rocca Malatestiana. We will be performing in a series of 9 shows in extraordinary locations, visiting the most charming cities in Central and Southern Italy.
Every night, we will be performing songs from my two albums, "GLOBETROTTER" and "NEVER GIVE UP."

I am thrilled to announce that I will have the pleasure of once again playing with the legendary Dave Weckl on drums. Dave has already lent his incredible talent to my first album, "GLOBETROTTER," and it is an honor to share the stage with him.

Alain Caron, one of the musicians I have admired since my teenage years, a true electric bass "icon," will also be joining us on the tour. I had the privilege of playing together on my second album, "NEVER GIVE UP," and we already embarked on a tour together last year.

I couldn't be happier to announce that George Whitty will be with us at every show. In addition to playing on both of my albums, George also produced my second album, contributing to the arrangements and overall sound.

Lastly, a true "music brother" once again, the incredible Manuel Trabucco on saxophone, with whom I have been collaborating for almost 10 years. Manuel never fails to amaze me at every concert with his skill, sound, and the immense passion he pours into every note.

I cannot wait to meet you in person and share the stories behind my compositions. Never Give Up!

There's a lot of warm soul on this one with a smidge of Latin and a lot of groove. That's Di Luzio's formula as he chronicles his musical life with seven originals and two standards.

Luca steps out on a number of cuts with buttery, liquid melodies that makes things pop. Haslip lives up to his billing shining throughout the set including a funky solo on "Jazzlife"."

Jimmy Haslip's electric bass playing has been popping up on my radar lately–he's definitely a jazz musician in high demand. Luca di Luzio has filled out the line-up with other stellar jazz musicians such as sax player Max Ionata and keyboardist George Whitty. Listen closely and you'll hear the mastery and the skill in every note, every solo.

Globetrotter is about all these elements, but the main reason to listen is Luca di Luzio's guitar. He's thoughtful in the way he adapts his style to the specific instrument, how the electric guitars have that same lonely wail as Metheny, and how the delicate acoustic guitars reveal di Luzio's Mediterranean roots. Most of all, Globetrotter is the study of a man's heart, and how certain memories bring out certain emotions, emotions that are easily detected in the music that's inspired."

Writing music is, for me, telling stories that I have lived, leaving traces of events that have moved me.

Each song has a reason, each journey tells a story. Sometimes it takes two minutes to write a new piece, other times two years.

This album is the story of the last 3 years. Difficult moments, moments of change but also moments of great emotions.

The musicians who played on this record made my music more beautiful, I thank them all.

This disc is dedicated to those who never give up, to those who pursue their dreams and write their destiny every day. To those who do not give up in the face of obstacles and continue to smile trying to make the world more beautiful.
